Since the early 1900s, Daytona Beach has been known for its beautiful wide beaches and motorsports. That tradition continues today with several internationally known race events held at the Daytona International Speedway, particularly those centered around Race Week in February, Bike Week in March, and BikeToberFest in October.
The Daytona International Speedway is a versatile 480-acre motorsports facility that is home to the biggest, richest and most prestigious stock car race in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series- the DAYTONA 500. The track offers three separate tours that take race fans inside the hallowed grounds of NASCAR's marquee race track.
In addition to these major race events, Daytona Beach hosts numerous festivals and events happening all over the area throughout the year. Theaw can be found in the city's many parks and Daytona Beach and neighboring communities. Daytona Beach's various colorful festivals include walking tours, Blues Festivals (Ormond Beach Seafood & Blues Festival in May), July 4 festivities with fireworks, and boating parades.
