Since the early 1900s, Daytona Beach has been known for its beautiful wide beaches and motorsports. That tradition continues today with several internationally known race events held at the Daytona International Speedway, particularly those centered around Race Week in February, Bike Week in March, and BikeToberFest in October.
The Daytona International Speedway is a versatile 480-acre motorsports facility that is home to the biggest, richest and most prestigious stock car race in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series- the DAYTONA 500. The track offers three separate tours that take race fans inside the hallowed grounds of NASCAR's marquee race track.
In addition to these major race events, Daytona Beach hosts numerous festivals and events happening all over the area throughout the year. Theaw can be found in the city's many parks and Daytona Beach and neighboring communities. Daytona Beach's various colorful festivals include walking tours, Blues Festivals (Ormond Beach Seafood & Blues Festival in May), July 4 festivities with fireworks, and boating parades. Country Folk Art Show
held at the Daytona Beach Ocean Center, this annual event sees craftspeople from across the US gather to display a variety of handcrafted wares including folk art, furniture, carvings and jewelry among other items.
Daytona Beach Florida Race Week
Racing fans flock to Daytona Beach each year for Race Week, where the Daytona International Speedway is just a short drive from The Grand Seas Resort. Watch the best stock car drivers in the world compete at the famous Daytona 500, which is NASCAR's biggest and most prestigious event. This is a popular event that draws visitors from all over the world so be sure to book your reservation early! Daytona 500 - dates vary, this annual event is the biggest and perhaps most important event in the Daytona Beach racing calendar. The best stock car racers in the world converge at the Daytona International Speedway track to compete for the prestigious title.
Ormond Beach Carnevale
Held for four days in early February at Bruce Rossmeyer's Destination Daytona, featuring concerts, carnival rides, a parade and much more.
Daytona Bike Week
Bikers travel from all over the country to Daytona's largest annual event - Bike Week. The Grand Seas Resort is just a few minutes away from all the Bike Week action, which includes entertainment, bike shows, charity runs, riding the loop, and plenty more within the 10 day event. We will sell out so book your room early! Another important affair in the city's calendar of vehicle-related events. Bike week sees enthusiasts of the two-wheel mode of transport gather to celebrate all that is good about motorcycling. Expect a variety of biked-related shows, exhibits and concerts.
Spring Break

Black College Reunion
An annual event that sees upwards of 10,000 people attending a three-day festival of fun, food, drink, music and entertainment. The action is focused on Atlantic Avenue next to the beach.
Daytona Beach Sights & Sounds of Summer Concert Series. May 28-Sept. 3.
Enjoy soothing ocean breezes and great live music at Daytona Beach's historic Bandshell all summer long! The free concert series takes place every Saturday from 5 p.m.-9:45 p.m., from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Rock, blues, big band, rhythm and blues, country and jazz artists perform weekly.

Ormond Beach Seafood & Blues Festival - May 14 - 15, 2011
Food lovers, this event is for you! Taste a variety of fresh seafood from local restaurants, enjoy live music, vendors and children's activities at the annual Ormond Beach Seafood Festival. There will be more than 20 music acts performing and plenty of seafood to taste. Located at Rockefeller Gardens, at 25 Riverside Drive in Ormond Beach (just north of Daytona). Florida International Festival
This event sees internationally acclaimed dancers and musicians gather together to showcase their talents before the city's culturally inclined residents, while the London Symphony Orchestra also makes a regular appearance at the FIF.
Independence Day
July 4th, Daytona Beach celebrates the country's most significant historical holiday in typical flair with fireworks and festivities across the city.

Early July, this is another of Daytona's big events held at the Daytona International Speedway. Expect stock cars and big crowds.
Coke Zero 400 Weekend. July 1- 2.
Marvel at the fireworks on and off the track as the stars of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series head to Daytona International Speedway to celebrate the Independence Day holiday weekend. Fireworks Light Up Daytona Beach
Beginning Memorial Day Weekend and through Labor Day Weekend, enjoy a free fireworks show every Saturday at 9:45 p.m. Watch the show from the beach, Boardwalk or from your favorite eatery at Ocean Walk Shoppes. Daytona Beach Boat Show
This annual event sees boat enthusiasts from all over the state gather to view a huge selection of the finest boats available for purchase. Upwards of 400 boats are displayed at the Ocean Center and more still across the bay at Caribbean Jack's Marina
Biketoberfest

Halifax Art Festival
Annual Art Festival - early November, this annual event presented by the Guild of Museum of Arts and Sciences features a variety of art-related exhibits and activities made possible by the presence of more than 250 skilled artists.
Annual Christmas Parade
Early December, the city marks the beginning of Daytona Beach's festive season with a giant festive parade which begins at Third Street and Ridgewood Avenue and finishes north at LPGA Boulevard
